Attraction Spotlight – Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

The immersive land of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in August 2019. This was the second iteration of the Star Wars universe to open at a Disney Park, with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening only months earlier at Disneyland Resort in California in May 2019.

The land encompasses 14 acres (5.7 ha) and is set in the village of Black Spire Outpost, on the remote frontier planet of Batuu, and features a range of attractions, shops, restaurants and entertainment. Explore the Outer Rim planet and see why it was a main trading port before lightspeed took it off the main pathway through the galaxy, and why it is now a popular place for smugglers and all the other interesting people. Here you can come in contact with some of your favourite characters from both the First Order and the Resistance – including Kylo Ren, Rey, Chewie, and even Din Djarin and Grogu! From today, 23 August 2023, you may also run across Ahsoka!
